Preparing

When giving blood today the technician told me that I had saved two lives through my contribution, but I could only think that right now I’m working on saving my own life. Today marks the first day that I truly plan with confidence on eating healthy. Who knows, maybe I will even exercise?

  1. I found your blog via Worpress. I just started one about my upcoming bypass surgery. Looking for other people who are either veterans to this, or like me, about to do it. I think it’s great that you understand where you’re at with this. I really hope you have a good support group around you.
I wish you the best…I know all too well what the stakes are. And good for you for giving blood. It’s something I did back in the day, but now I don’t because I’m ashamed of my looks. Stupid huh?
I hope you don’t mind, but I added you to my blog roll. I want to be able to check in on your progress. I’m cheering for you!

    Best
